So, here we are. This is what it's about, those endless pictures.
I've got more pictures than any human can handle and definitely too many to put (and already) on here.
Until now, there's shared folders of England, the States roadtrip (below), Italy and an Instagram feed.
You can expect more randomness from all around the Netherlands, Amsterdam area and an upcoming trip to America!
Enjoy ...to infinity, and beyond!

John's USA travels so far...
Each two years, our family goes back to the States to visit our supporters, family, friends and more. It seems like every time we do that, we leave the earliest possible time after school ends, and always get back with a terrible jet lag the day before it starts!
In this first album I intend to take you along a journey of 3.000 (shrinked!) summer pictures from 5 different devices. The places in the menu are listed in chronological order, the way we traveled, just to make things easier...

Summer '12, what did the Ashworths do?!?
Well, a lot.
Due to flying prices between Amsterdam and the States (Chicago), we only have about six weeks (44 days this time) each summer to fill up with as many connections, (touristic) places and long-time no-see friends, all in one amazing trip. In conclusion, we definitely planned in a lot to do. But, that did have its consequences, our longest trip was 15 hours through the middle of Nevada, and in total we only stayed in two hotels (3 nights), on our first two days in Springfield, and to be able to be close to the Grand Canyon (1 night)!
...and that would have only been possible with our hospitable hosts from the supporting churches, our dear friends and of course; family. We would like to thank you very much for opening your homes, making time to spend with us and welcoming us back to the States!
We, and John in particular this summer, are looking forward to come back some time soon!
You might think: did they just spend endless hours in a hot car, talking about their work in Amsterdam over and over while surviving off of fastfood?
And yes, the countless encounters with people who knew us without us knowing them, and enjoying how everyone had grown up, were there.
But being in the States in all those interesting areas, we HAD to include some Route 66 type of touristic action:
